The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the largest motoring garden party in the world - a unique summer weekend that brings together an impossibly heady mix of cars, stars and motor sport royalty to create the largest car culture event in the world. Held in the immaculate grounds of Goodwood House, this annual Hillclimb event is a true celebration of motor sport and all things automotive.
The 2019 Festival promises to be packed with action and excitement, as the planet's most glamorous racing machinery and famous drivers gather together in the beautiful surroundings of Goodwood Park.

Speed Kings – Motorsport’s Record Breakers
This year’s Festival will celebrate the drivers, riders, cars, motorcycles and teams that have gone further than their contemporaries in the pursuit of glory. From the intrepid early pioneers to today’s high-tech heroes, it will gather the most celebrated and successful racing machines, which raised the bar in their respective fields. We will celebrate not just individual speed records, but those who, over the course of a career, set new benchmarks which the next generation aspire to surpass.
This year marks 20 years since Nick Heidfeld set the outright record on the Goodwood Hill, covering the 1.16-mile course in 41.6 seconds at the wheel of a McLaren MP4/13.
Can 2019 be the year we celebrate a new record holder?
